Glurns

Glurns, the smallest town in South Tirol.

Surrounded by fields and meadows this town still has complete walls and three town gates, showing its defensive character. Glurns was declared a market town in 1291. The old market place is still used today for markets and festivals which are well visited by people from far and wide as well as locals.
